Serene Moments

It is an honor to have this painting featured in the February, 2012 issue of the "Pastel Journal" magazine in the article, "A River Runs through it."   I am thankful for this happening.

Winning Painting ---  I am pleased and honored to announce that this pastel painting was accepted into the National "Paint America Top 100" Art Competition.  Three of my pastel paintings were accepted into the Top 100 of this competition.  They will go on a national tour throughout 2011 with Paint America and are available for sale.  http://www.Paintamerica.org   You may contact me or Paint America for purchasing.

Received the Judges Award at the Lititz Art Show in July of 2009.

The inspiration for this pastel came from Tyler Park, Bucks County, PA.  It is a park that is located only up the street from where I live.
How wonderful when all we need do is look around at our own surroundings to find our inspiration.
The Neshaminy Creek meanders through the park adding to all the beauty.
I have painted many scenes from Tyler Park and am thankful that it is so close.
